How To Build A Party That Doesn't Fall Apart In Mobile RPGs
Every mobile RPG eventually hits the wall where your all-attacker party stops working. We've run into it in game after game, and the lesson is always the same: coverage matters more than picking your four highest-level heroes.
Start with a tank, even a mediocre one. Something on the team needs to soak damage and hold enemy attention, otherwise your damage dealers get deleted before they act. A dedicated healer or support usually comes second, because sustained fights are where raw damage teams collapse.
Elements and status effects are the third piece. Games like Emberfall Saga reward you for stacking a slow, a poison, and a burst attacker who cleans up. Once we started reading enemy weaknesses instead of ignoring them, boss fights that took ten minutes started ending in three.
Finally, don't be afraid to respec. Many modern RPGs make it cheap on purpose. If a hero isn't pulling their weight in a role, try them somewhere else before you shelve them entirely. Some of our best characters were rebuilds of ones we'd nearly given up on.
